The manufacturing process of galvanized square and rectangular tubes mainly includes the following steps:
Material Selection: High-quality low-carbon steel coil is used as the raw material for production. These raw materials undergo rigorous physical and chemical testing before being used to ensure they meet production requirements.
Cutting and Processing: The raw material coil is cut into appropriately sized square tube blanks according to the specifications.
Cleaning Treatment: The square tube blanks are sent to a cleaning tank for acid cleaning to remove surface oils, oxides, and other impurities, ensuring a clean and contaminant-free surface. This step is crucial for subsequent galvanizing treatment.
Sulfuric Acid Immersion: The cleaned square tube blanks are immersed in diluted sulfuric acid to further remove impurities such as iron oxide from the surface and provide suitable surface conditions for galvanizing.
Galvanizing Bath Immersion: The square tube blanks, after sulfuric acid immersion, are sent to the galvanizing bath. The zinc solution in the galvanizing bath has an appropriate temperature and concentration. The square tube blanks are continuously immersed and withdrawn from the galvanizing bath at a certain speed, allowing a uniform layer of zinc to be plated on the surface of the tube. This step is the core of galvanized square tube production.
